FAQ

What is the smallest internal diameter (ID) you can produce?
• In PVC & EVA, the smallest ID consistently is currently, .003". For PE, it would be .015".

Why is my price higher if I want a part cut to length opposed to having it coiled?
• With cut lengths, there is more time involved in packaging the product, plus depending on the tolerance of the cut length, we may not be able to run the extrusion line as fast.

What materials do you offer in non-DEHP?
• PU, DOA, PE, TPE, Natvar BioPath ™, and Natvar 252 ™

What is your minimum order?
• $500 Lot Charge for straight PVC (when raw material is in stock).

What is your lead time?
• Shipment in 2 weeks (when raw material is in stock). We also offer Kanban/stocking programs to meet JIT delivery requirements.

Do you have samples?
• We do not inventory small samples due to shelf life and limited storage space. We do keep some specialty items for promotional purposes that can be shipped upon request. These include, but are not limited to: Natvar PowerPath ™, Natvar SurePath 151 ™, Natvar SurePath 252 ™, Natvar BioPath ™, Natvar SR Tubing, Bubble or Transition Tubing, Cardiovascular Tubing, IV Tubing, Microbore Tubing, Multi-Lumen Tubing, Solvent and Thermal Bonded Paratubing, Custom Printed Tubing, Co-Extruded Striped Tubing, and ID or OD Profile Extrusions. Samples can also be taken from current orders being produced at the time of your request, should they meet your requirements. Contact a Customer Service Representative for more information.

What size ranges do you offer?
• We can produce tubing with an ID range of 0.003" to 2.000" and an OD range of 0.020" to 2.500". Size ranges may vary depending on material selected. Please consult with Natvar Engineering when considering tubing size for your application.

What cut length tolerances can Natvar hold on PVC?
• Cut length tolerance will depend on the length of the cut piece of tubing. For tubing length less than 1 ft., Natvar can hold as tight as +/- 0.032". Tolerances may vary based on size, material type, and cut length, so please consult Natvar Engineering for cut length tolerances specific to your application.
